La maison d’hôtes
With respect for nature and keeping in mind the authentic architectural style as well as atmosphere and comfort, the stable has been converted in an eco-friendly way into a holiday home which can accommodate 2-4 people.
An old and in bad condition building has been transformed into a detached holiday home located on the edge of a meadow and surrounded by lots of trees.
The maison d’hôtes is part of an ‘ensemble’ which includes a farmhouse, a barn and a water mill, le Moulin Gras. The water mill was built between 1793-1809. Until the late seventies grain was ground by the previous owner.
It was a traditional farm with animals, a vegetable garden and fruit trees.
The ground floor of the house has an authentic rural and rustic character with traditionally joined stone walls and the original oak beams and consists of a dining/living area and a kitchenette equipped with a cooker and a refrigerator.
The first floor is a spacious bedroom with a surface of 32 m2 with two box spring beds, a shower and separate toilet. There is a possibility to place two additional box spring beds so four people can stay overnight.
Your stay is on a B&B base. Every morning we serve continental breakfast. Twice a week we offer table d’hôtes and you can sit down at our table for an early evening dinner. For all meals we try to use as much seasonal and fresh food as possible from our organic garden and local producers.
